The best thing about Rajasthan is that travellers across all budgets can enjoy the state. If you're a budget traveller you'll spend anything between Rs. 40,000- 55,000, a mid range traveller would spend between Rs. 55,000- 80,000 and a high end traveler would spend between Rs. 80,000- 1, 20,000.

By Air

The State has 3 major airports, namely: Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur.

Most major public and private airlines operate regular flights to these places connecting them to major cities like Delhi Mumbai. If you plan to enter Rajasthan from Delhi, Jaipur is the most convenient entry point, while Udaipur is the best choice from Mumbai.

By Rail

Rajasthan has a good Railway network also. Major Railway Stations are in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Udaipur which are in turn linked to important Indian cities. But the best way to reach and experience Rajasthan is to take the "Palace on Wheels". This is a luxury tourist train, which offers fabulous royal splendor of the land on board. The state has also recently launched another tourist train "Heritage on Wheels". It also covers a large circuit offering enchanting glimpses of royal heritage.

By Road

One can reach Rajasthan by Road very easily since a network of National Highways and State Highways roads covers the state extensively. From Delhi, Jaipur is only 5 hours drive along the panoramic roadways. So most of the tourists prefer to travel Rajasthan by road.

Jantar Mantar

The Cosmos and the vast Universe has always remained an enigma to mankind. Since yore the Universe has always fascinated man.

In fact the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest and one of the best preserved of five observatories constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh all over northern India. Kumbhalgarh Fort

The majestic fort of Kumbhalgarh, situated at a distance of eighty four kilometers to the north of the 'City of Lakes', is perhaps one of the most spectacular sites that adorns the history laden landscape of Udaipur. A testimony to the ingenuity of the legendary Maha rana Kumbha, it draws as much accolades as the formidable fortress of Chittorgarh.
It was constructed between the years 1445 and 1458 and is said to have been raised on the ruins of Samrapati's palace, a Jain king who lived in the 2nd Century B.C. In fact, the remnants of a Jain shrine found in the spectacular fortress indicates at such state of affairs. Read More.....

Ranthambore National Park

The Ranthambore National Park located between the Aravali Mountains and the Vindhya plateau is one of the renowned sanctuaries of India. This sanctuary with an area of 1,334 sq km is famous for its Royal Bengal Tigers that can be seen near the marshes and the lakes even during the daytime.
In the past this area was the hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. It was declared a game sanctuary in 1955 and later became a National Park in 1980. Finally on 1980, it became the Tiger Reserve in India. Ranthambore is also cited as a heritage site because of the pictorial ruins of the fort within the park. Read More.....  

Udaipur

One of the most romantic cities in the world, Udaipur is nestled among the lush green Aravalis ranges. A legend goes into the making of the city. When the Emperor Akbar sacked Chittaurgarh, the capital of Maharana Udai Singh, a holy man guided the Maharana to re-build his capital here.
